Italy’s financial regulator CONSOB has ordered the blocking of six new unauthorized investment platforms, raising the total number of blacked-out sites to 1,366 since July 2019.
The following websites were targeted in the latest enforcement action:
- The Toro Global – thetoroglobal.com and client.thetoroglobal.com
- Finbridge International – finbridgeinter.com and webtrader.finbridgeinter.tech
- INCORE-INVFX / IncoreInvestment – incore-invfx.com and client.incore-invfx.com
- Coingridr – coingridr. top
- Gigtaskr – gigtaskr.top
- Sxr922 – sxr922.it
The measure was taken under the Growth Decree and the EU’s MiCAR regulation, enabling CONSOB to instruct Italian ISPs to restrict access to fraudulent or unlicensed financial platforms. Full implementation may take several days.
Traders are reminded to always verify whether a platform is regulated by a recognized authority before engaging, especially when trading CFDs or crypto products. For prop traders and firms alike, the rise in regulatory crackdowns reinforces the need for due diligence, both in platform selection and in maintaining brand trust.
