BrightFunded, one of the newer but fast-growing proprietary trading firms, has announced the integration of MetaTrader 5 (MT5) into its suite of available platforms. The addition, unveiled on Sep. 22, joins cTrader and DXtrade, giving traders more flexibility in choosing their preferred trading environment.
MetaTrader 5 remains one of the most widely used platforms in both retail and prop trading. It is recognized for its advanced charting capabilities, extensive library of technical indicators and support for algorithmic trading through Expert Advisors (EAs). By incorporating MT5, BrightFunded aims to provide its community with more control over how they trade, whether relying on manual analysis or automated systems.
The European market, in particular, has a strong and loyal MetaTrader user base, and BrightFunded expects the integration to play a significant role in supporting its expansion there. On a global scale, MetaTrader 5 reportedly boasts an estimated user base of more than 10 million users.
The latest update to the MetaTrader 5 mobile app for iOS devices introduced several features designed to enhance on-the-go strategy analysis. Key improvements include interactive visual trade reports that consolidate performance metrics, the addition of new analytical tools, like the ZigZag indicator and Market Profile, and a streamlined data window for quick deal information. The update also brings performance enhancements for chart history and greater customization for indicator windows.
Founded in September 2023, BrightFunded has quickly established itself as an active player in the global prop space. The company recently reported that total trader payouts have surpassed $8.2 million, with participants from 168 countries.
