TradingView has increased the size limits for investment portfolios across its paid subscription tiers, which grants users enhanced capacity to monitor and analyze their market strategies.
The change, which took effect on Nov. 11, applies to users on the Plus, Premium and Ultimate plans. It allows them to create and manage substantially larger portfolios than was previously possible.
Departure from Previous Subscription Structure
This update marks a shift from the platform’s prior structure, where these higher-tier plans were constrained by the same portfolio limits as the basic Essential plan. The new, more generous capacities are now a defined feature of the upgraded subscriptions.
The increased limits are intended to offer users greater flexibility. Traders can now track a broader universe of holdings, manage multiple distinct strategies simultaneously and compare various portfolio concepts without being hindered by earlier restrictions.
TradingView has advised users to consult their account’s subscription page to confirm their specific new limits and to explore the platform’s guides on portfolio management.
New Leverage Settings in Charting Tools
In a separate but related development, TradingView has integrated a leverage-setting feature directly into its chart-based Long and Short Position tools. This update helps traders simulate more realistic trading scenarios by factoring in their actual capital.
With this feature, trade size calculations are now tied to the user’s account balance using a customizable leverage ratio. The goal is to avoid situations where a trade appears viable in theory but exceeds the trader’s available funds.
