Navigating Industry Changes
FTP has remained resilient despite significant industry challenges. In 2024, 80 to 100 prop firms shut down, while FTP continued its operations by adapting to market shifts. Following Eightcap’s exit from the prop trading industry, FTP quickly pivoted by partnering with ThinkMarkets and transitioning to MatchTrader, DXTrade, and cTrader, discontinuing MetaTrader.
Lockwood is expected to elevate FTP’s trader education efforts, creating comprehensive learning resources to help traders navigate the evolving prop trading landscape.
With this strategic hire, Funded Trading Plus reinforces its commitment to empowering funded traders and maintaining its position as a trusted player in the industry.
